Experience

  1. Computational Biologist, Cancer Immunology and Bioinfomatics

    Harvard Medical School/Mass General Hospital

Transformed complex data into pre-clinically validated cancer prevention and treatment through rigorous biological & mathematical reasoning:

    • Demonstrated impact and outcome by my (co-)first-author publications : Nature Communications(2025), Oncogene(2022 and 2025), EMBO Reports(2023), two manuscripts in preparation
    • Leveraged single-cell and spatial genomics to identify and preclinically validate targets driving novel cancer prevention and treatment
    • Built end-to-end spatial genomics pipelines— from sample preparation and sequencing library construction to bioinformatics analysis, publication-ready presentation, and preclinical validated discoveries

  2. Computational Biologist, Immunology and Bioinfomatics

    Harvard Medical School/Mass General Hospital
    • Led a multi-institutional collaboration between a biotech partner, Harvard Medical School, and the Broad Institute
    • High-containment (Biosafety level 3) molecular and cellular biology that requires highly precise and proficient experimental plan and execution.
    • Developed lung slice models for studying initial host-pathogen interactions in human lungs to enable early detection of asymptomatic infections
    • Built SeqWins: An R package allowing flexible base trimming and complete Fastq analysis on Windows System as fast and memory-efficient as linux
    • Built a customized, comprehensive pathway analysis pipeline that uncovered key signaling for macrophage to control infection
